Privacy policy

Draft for legal review. This describes how LeadRally actually handles data; have a lawyer check it, add the registered office address, and remove this note before publishing.

This policy explains what personal data MoonFellow IT Solutions Pvt Ltd, the maker of LeadRally (“we”), handles, through this website, the LeadRally app and our licence server, and what we do with it.

This website

The website uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and receives your IP address and basic browser details; we see only totals, never who you are, and use no advertising trackers. You can block it with your browser’s privacy settings or Google’s opt-out add-on. The website also loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address to deliver them. If you email us, we keep your message and address to answer you.

The LeadRally app

The app runs on your computer. The leads, contacts, emails, deals and notes you work with are stored in a database in your own Windows user folder. We do not receive them. You are the controller of that data, and responsible for having a lawful basis to process it.

The app connects to services you choose and configure with your own accounts (for example Google Gemini, Google Places, Resend or Brevo). Data sent to them is governed by your agreement with them.

Our licence server

To start your trial and check your licence, the app sends our licence server, a few times a day:

• a code for your computer, derived from (not equal to) its Windows machine ID;
• the computer’s name and the app version;
• your licence key, once you have one;
• during a trial, once you have signed up and finished the business setup: the admin’s name and email, your company’s name, website and country, and your computer’s time zone, so we know whose trial it is and can help you get set up;
• your IP address, as part of any internet connection.

We use these only to run trials and licences, prevent misuse, and support you. We keep them while your licence is active and for a reasonable period after, and we do not sell them.

Customers and invoices

When you buy a licence we keep your business name, contact name, email and invoice details, as the law on accounts requires.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Write to privacy@leadrally.in.
